MI Legends Foundation aims to help build the next generation of strong, service-minded leaders who leave a lasting impact on their communities through teamwork, compassion, and purpose-driven action.
Our Mission
The MI Legends Foundation focuses on empowering young athletes in the Metro-Detroit area through service, mentorship, and community engagement. We support the development of character, leadership, and academic excellence by connecting youth sports with meaningful volunteerism and outreach.
Building Leaders Through Service
At MI Legends Foundation, our mission is to inspire youth to lead with purpose through community service and opportunity.
Each year, we complete four major service projects, such as Care Kits for Veterans, Food Round-Up for Fish & Loaves, Donation Drives for Downriver Foster Closet, and Legends for Literacy. These efforts directly support local families, veterans, and children in need.
Our Youth Advisory Council—made up of student leaders—helps plan and carry out these projects, giving young people a hands-on role in making a difference.
We also provide scholarships for volleyball players, helping student-athletes continue their academic and athletic goals while staying connected to service.
